Punta Gorda’s Hidden Gem
If you head south of downtown Punta Gorda on highway 41, you will find a quiet, friendly and beautiful RV Park, with 196 sites, surrounded by wooded areas. It’s located three and a half miles south of the Tucker Grade interstate exit 158. The park is Sun N Shade RV Resort and has a large 10’x15’ U.S. Flag as its landmark for its arriving guests. Upon entering the park, you will check in at our office and be escorted to your site to help you get settled in for your stay with us.
Sun N Shade RV Resort has planned activities during the winter months located at our clubhouse for our seasonal customers. Activities include Bingo, potluck dinners, seasonal parties/dances and much more. There is always a good time to be had by all at one of the seasonal pool parties or just enjoying a quiet day around the pool. You can walk on the nature trail with someone or your furry family member… Sun N Shade is a pet-friendly park and provides pet stations throughout the park for your convenience. Please obey all lease and pet rules. Sun N Shade also has our share of wild life to enjoy. We entertain several Sand Hill Cranes, otters, armadillos and alligators on occasions. After all, this is their home too.
