Take a leisurely stroll on the Walking Path that leads directly to the delightful, one-of-a-kind, Cornwell’s Turkeyville.  What started as a one room eatery in 1943, selling scrumptiously famous turkey sandwiches, has become quite the famous family-friendly establishment, boasting homemade delicacies made right on site in their ice cream parlor, bakery, and restaurant.  While the entertaining Dinner Theatre hosts over 40,000 guests in their 47-week season, featuring a wide variety of performances since 1987.  In the years since its first opening, they have added many events, including craft shows, flea markets, antique shows, garden shows, community yard sales and more.  The list of fun events is ever-changing; with the recently added, Bike Nights, being a hit and occurring every Wednesday night from May through Labor Day.  In fact, the food is so good here; a nice bike ride will be just the ticket to work some of it off while also providing a perfect venue for viewing this gorgeous countryside.

Back at the Resort, you can unwind while checking your emails with their complementary internet access or while reading a magazine poolside.  The showers, restrooms, and laundry facilities are all well-maintained and top-rated for their cleanliness.  Friends and family can visit campers for just $5 per person for the day, while $5 wristbands that can be purchased for those visitors who want to have full use of the pool and Splash Park for the day (10-8).

Civil War Reenactments are a part of Camp Turkeyville’s living history and each year there are battles, a Grand Ball, and much more.  The famous Gettysburg Address is read by “Abe Lincoln” and there are many people dressed in costume, including blacksmith and many sutlers.
