The river is fed by around 200 springs, one of the highest concentrations in the world.  The supremely relaxing Riverfront Sites are spectacular, not to mention the year-round pool and spa, which are heated and perfect for stargazing while soaking on a clear summer’s night.

The camp sites vary from Large Big Rig, Pull-thru, Full Hookup, Rustic and Modern Tent sites. Guests can also stay at premier Riverfront sites. There are also deluxe Camping Cottages. All sites boast free wireless internet access, clean restrooms with hot showers, laundry rooms, camp tables and fire rings.  The boat docks, nature trails, and observation docks are especially convenient for exploring all that this riverfront paradise has to offer its visitors. Ice and firewood are available for sale at the general store as well.

The modern Club House is an extensive, well-built two-story building, perfectly suited for gatherings, rallies, group meetings and more.  The outdoor pavilion boasts a common campfire ring and full kitchen, in one of the most beautiful of surroundings, framed by huge trees and lots of green foliage.  The boat docks offer quick and easy access to the river, where you can also rent a boat or simply have a picnic on one of the many picnic tables provided. For those who bring their own boat, they can launch it off the boat launch ramp.

The river-front RV sites offer fabulous views of the lake, right from the comfort of your RV.  The surrounding thousands of acres of wildlife refuge allow for some unique wildlife to be found here, in and around the river.  Many folks enjoy fishing, swimming, and boating in the lake during their stay here. It is quite the destination for ultimate relaxation, nature hikes, and a delightful soak in crystal clear water in the nearby springs.

Close by there are many entertaining attractions to choose from during your camping trip, not to mention excellent restaurants for when you feel like eating out.  A local winery, hundreds of small scenic springs, and more, can be found right around the corner.  While the Butterfly Rainforest, Historic Gainesville, Cheifland Golf and Country Club, Florida Museum of Natural History, and Two Tails Ranch are just a short drive away.  Orlando is a 2 and ½ hour trek if you aim to do the more big-time tourist stuff with its numerous famous attractions.
