Cross Creek RV Resort in Arcadia, Florida, announced today that it has broken ground and commenced construction on a new phase of development. Driven by the overwhelming demand of today’s RVers for high-end, oversized sites, this is the third expansion for Cross Creek, a full-service RV resort with a Good Sam 10/10*/10 rating that currently has 525 sites.
“We are pleased to mark the continuing growth at Cross Creek,” said Bill Harvey, owner of the resort. “We could not ask for a more loyal and friendly RV customer base. We look forward to sharing everything that Cross Creek and the Arcadia area has to offer with an even larger audience after this expansion.”
Scheduled to be completed by November 1, this latest building program will add 87 new premium RV sites, bringing the total number of sites available for the 2016 winter season to 612. “Cross Creek offers sites that are large enough to accommodate all the RVs coming down the highway,” said Mr. Harvey, “plus, we offer a great selection of new park models and double wide homes within the resort.”
This latest expansion at Cross Creek will include a 5,000 square foot clubhouse that will include a state-of-the-art fitness center along with locker rooms and shower facilities. We’ll also have a Lakeside Picnic Pavilion for private parties. A particularly interesting addition will be the 1-mile Nature Trail/Pet Walk which will meander through 100-year-old oak trees and wetland prairies.
About Cross Creek RV Resort
Since purchasing the property in 2003, Harvey’s commitment to making Cross Creek a premiere RV owner’s “home away from home” has borne fruit. The list of amenities at the resort is already impressive with a gigantic heated swimming pool, hot tub, three clubhouses, tennis and pickle ball courts in addition to a popular fitness center. Community sports include shuffleboard, horseshoes, billiards and bocce. There is an extensive calendar of special events and entertainment coordinated by a professional staff and a full-time on-site activities director.
Cross Creek RV Resort is a short drive from Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. The location allows you to be in a coastal town within 30 minutes and enjoy watching dolphins while dining and shopping at the quaint shops in Fisherman’s Village. Arcadia is a small town without the traffic and congestion found on the coast yet close enough to be convenient.
