Boyd’s Key West Campground is a family owned and operated campground since 1963. Located on the waterfront with palm trees and abundant tropical landscaping it is the ideal place for an island vacation. Campers will see iguanas and Key West chickens that inhabit the campground. Perhaps even an occasional manatee that visits the marina area.

The campground has over 200 sites from full hookup 30 or 50 amp service to primitive tent camping. Guests can choose either waterfront or inland sites. The campground has a boat ramp and docking facilities as well as a laundry, game room, picnic pavilion, free wi-fi and 24 hour security. Our pool and Tiki Hut area are the perfect place to meet new friends or just relax in the sunshine. There is also a camp store that offers general camping supplies as well as an extensive selection of gifts and souvenirs.

Boyd's Key West Campground - poolDuring the winter months, the campground offers a full calendar of activities including water aerobics, arts and craft classes, line dancing, and yoga.  Enjoy movie nights, pop and paint classes, potluck suppers, camper appreciation cookouts, sunset sails, kayak tours and poolside theme parties. There are also onsite kayak and paddleboard rentals to explore the area on your own.

The campground is located minutes from downtown Key West including Duval Street and Mallory Square, making it the perfect place to stay while enjoying the island. The world famous Mallory Square Sunset Celebration is a must see! Dozens of performers including magicians, jugglers, clowns, and local musicians perform for visitors and locals alike while watching incomparable Key West sunsets.

Exploring Key West

City bus transportation is available right outside the campground’s gate or better yet why not explore Key West on a bicycle or scooter? Check out Key West’s beaches, the nearby Key West Botanical Gardens. And also the Southernmost Point (just one of the highlights of the year is Key West’s annual Fantasy Fest. The October festival is a 10 day Mardi Gras style party. Visitors descend on Key West to enjoy various events such as street fairs, a Goombay Festival, a pet masquerade, and toga party. There’s also a parade down Duval Street featuring thousands of costumed revelers.

A unique and interesting side trip is to the Dry Tortugas National Park located 70 miles west of Key West. Transportation to the park is by seaplane or ferry. There are ranger guided tours of the fort and beautiful snorkeling and diving.
