RV recalls happen. When they do, it’s imperative that RVers know about the recalls relevant to their RVs.

Did you know that RV.net keeps RVers informed of RV Recalls by partnering with the Good Sam Club and the National Highway and Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) to gather RV recall data and then distribute it to RV owners in a relevant and timely manner?

This FREE RV recall service works as follows: Simply register your vehicle information with us via a short online registration form. We in turn will be tracking the NHTSA (National Highway Transportation Safety Administration) safety recall information on a weekly basis. If we receive a notice that matches your vehicle, or is similar to the vehicle information you gave us, we’ll notify you by e-mail.

    Debbie,
The password is for this site only and not your e-mail password. Anyway that’s what I think. You sure all your info was correct? I just signed up and no problems so far anyway.

I tried to sign up for these notifications..but why does it ask for my email password??? I don’t want to give that out. I tried using another password as I wasn’t sure what it was asking for, but it came back that it couldn’t be verified with info I gave. Why is my email password needed?

My name is Ben, we have a 04 Winnebago. In 09 our ABS light came on while we were on our way to the RV dealer, by the time we got there smoke was coming from the front tire. We were told by the dealer that they didn’t work on the Workhorse chassis. We made it home without any problem and 2 days later we got a interim recall from Workhorse stating that they would be having a recall on the Workhorse ABS and it would be ready by Nov. of 09. If we have had any problems take it to the nearest Workhorse dealer and they would repair any problem until the recall item came in. On the way to the dealer our brakes locked up on us, we called Workhorse and they stepped me through getting it to unlock. We finally made it to the dealer, left the MH and they repaired the problems that had been done because of the lockup and put us on the recall list. This was about June of 09. They said the parts should be in around November of 09. As of this date 3/16/10 I was told by the dealer that now they still haven’t found a salutation to the problem and it will probably be sometime in the fall of the year before it can be corrected! We are afraid to take our MH anyplace now, and don’t want to sell it to anyone and them have the problem.
