Scotia Pine Campground – There’s Good Times at the Pines!

Scotia Pine Campground is conveniently located near the town of Truro, Nova Scotia.  Within a short drive, visitors can visit the famous Fundy Tidal Bore, you will love the proximity to this and many other sights. What is a Tidal Bore? It is when the incoming tide forms a wave of water that travels up a river or narrow bay against the direction of the current so that the river is flowing in the opposite direction.

Nova Scotia has so much to offer to the traveling public. The Bay of Fundy area is one of the 7 wonders of North America. The Bay of Fundy has the highest tides on earth, the rarest whales in the world, dinosaur fossils, Alexander Graham Bell Museum, many historical forts, and the Baddeck Trail to name a few.

If you want to go hiking in the Truro area, Victoria Park is a 1,000-acre natural wooded park that has the Waddell Falls and the Joseph Howe Falls. A great place to see Nova Scotia scenery and maybe even have a picnic.
