Many of you saw where PetTravelCenter.com recently partnered with Bark Buckle UP to promote safe pet travel. We are very excited about this new alliance to help people realize just how important it is to keep your pets, passengers and others on the road safe. As we’ve said many times, an unrestrained pet in a vehicle can become a deadly projectile in the event of a sudden stop or crash. Just as you would secure your child and insist your human passengers buckle up, so you should also see to it that you do the same to protect your pets.

We came across 7 Car Safety Products For Your Pets Recommended By Bark Buckle UP™ that we wanted to share. At PetTravelCenter.com, we offer several of these recommended products, including the The Sleepypod Mobile Pet Bed and the Bamboo Quick Control Leash with Seat Belt Latch. We will be adding others to the list soon.

We hope you find the information helpful. Keep your furry friends secure by practicing safe pet travel.

Happy Pet Travels!

  2. Tamra watched my dog who i would have to say is like a big kid on stodeirs. lol. He loves to pull when you walk him and and Tamra took very excellent care for him while i was away in Virginia. She would text me almost everytime she was with him to let me know how he was doing and where they were at. I would definitely be using Tamra’s services again in the future. She is an excellent care taker for all living animals. I would not recommend you to use her services but to tell you to use her service. Its very well affordable and worth every bit of it.

We travel everywhere with our dog Maggie with harness and strapped to the seat belt. She has been probably30th miles. When I jingle the harness she comes running. I got one after she hit the back of my seat when I stopped real hard. Police have even taken pictures of her in the car and truck. No click it or ticket for her!!She’s already clicked.

Sorry, troops, but we have two dogs that ride in the back seat of our extended cab PU truck. If I hit smething head on (we only have one airbag) we are quite probably dead! The dogs, I suspect, will be a lot luckier.
If that sounds callous, so be it.

They’re right. Pets should be kept safe. However, unbeknownst to most people, there are other pets besides dogs and cats. I have cockatiels and I frequently take them with me while traveling. These guys are friendly, affectionate, smart, sociable and unbelievingly loyal. They talk to me. The can whistle Andy Griffith’s theme. And, they’re a joy to have around.

Is anything being done for owners of other types of pets?
