As an RVer who travels with pets, Rene Agredano hit the road as a full-time RVer in 2007 and hasn’t looked back. As she travels with her husband Jim Nelson and three-legged German Shepherd, Wyatt, Rene enjoys writing about the RVing lifestyle. She’s also a metalsmith and co-founder of the largest support community for animal amputees.
RVing became a way of life when she and Jim discovered they could take their home / office and workshop anywhere they please. With multiple ways to get online (including satellite internet), the location-independent entrepreneurial couple sets up shop wherever the weather is good and the sunsets are spectacular.
When people ask, “What’s your favorite place to visit?” Rene has a tough time answering. Every place has pros and cons, which is why she and Jim can’t decide where to “settle down.” For now, they love wintering in the Southwest and Texas, and escaping summer heat in the Rockies.
