Not enough sugar? How about Honey?

Being on the road means remembering to stock up on those kitchen staples. If you hit the road and forget he sugar, and don’t have the time to run out to get it, here is a great substitute.

Honey being high in fructose and be a powerful sweetening power. It also means that you probably need less of it than sugar when using it as a substitute. Here are some helpful tips when using Honey as a substitute.

-Always store in room temperature
-Cloudy honey? Just place in warm water until those crystals disappear.
-When measuring, coat your measuring cup with non-stick spray. Wa-la – No sticky mess.

Just remember it may not be an equal substitution. Start by substituting half the sugar called for with honey. You can always add, but it’s more difficult to take away. Let us know how it goes for you!
