NASCAR and Good Sam: Teaming Up for Succes
Excitement Builds about the NEW Roadside Assistance Program and the Upcoming Good Sam Roadside Assistance 200
Good Sam Enterprises (GSE) recently announced a new partnership with NASCAR to offer a comprehensive Roadside Assistance Program to those traveling by auto, truck, or SUV.
Leveraging Good Sam’s existing proprietary network of service providers throughout North America including the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, the new NASCAR Roadside Assistance will provide unlimited-distance towing to the nearest network service facility. “Sign & drive” coverage will also be available in Mexico.
Coverage will be available for virtually any type of truck, auto, or van and includes coverage at no extra charge for spouses and dependent children. Other services will include mobile mechanic dispatch for minor roadside repairs, tire changes, jump starts, delivery of up to five gallons of fuel if the customer runs out, lockout service, lost key return and much more. In the coming months, members will be able to get help via a downloadable app on the customer’s smart phone as dispatchers can use GPS technology to pinpoint the customer’s location. The new NASCAR Roadside Assistance will also utilize the GSE program’s nationwide tire network for fast delivery and service so customers can get back on the road following a tire mishap.
“We are pleased to partner with NASCAR and to provide this exceptional Roadside Assistance product,” said Marcus Lemonis, Good Sam Enterprises Chairman & CEO. “Taking care of customers whether on their way to work, a relaxing weekend with family or coming and going from an exciting NASCAR race weekend is our core focus. We are the travelers’ 9-1-1 — we take calls and send the help you need when trouble finds you on the road.”

We would like to provide some additional clarification about the Good Sam Roadside Assistance (GS RA) and NASCAR program that will be rolling out later on this year. The new program will be offering a new Roadside Assistance product in addition to the current GS RA products. It will allow drivers of non-RV vehicles to take advantage of the great benefits of GS RA at the affordable GS RA rates. If you currently have a membership with GS RA or are looking to purchase one of the current products, the new program will in no way affect the coverage associated with these these products. These products will remain as is and will continue to offer coverage on your RV as well as your other vehicles. We hope this helps to clarify this new program. Thanks for being Good Sam Roadside Assistance members!

I have regular roadside assistance because it covered all my vehicles for towing including my motorcycle which I tour the USA on. If this coverage cheanges I won’t be renewing ERS. I will be signing up with another company for coverage.

It is almost time to renew our coverage with Affinity but I am confused. Is this an additional perk to the Good Sam regular roadside service? Our family vehicles were already included, so why the extra hype now. Will our fifth wheel still be covered??? We have been extremely pleased with the service in the past but we are hesitant to get into this new deal without some clarification.

I’ll be a bit nicer in my comment. Is this by chance an additional service deal to the Good Sam regular roadside service, as to add all your other family vehicles to such coverage? I was thinking family vehicles were already included, or am I mistaken? Maybe a further discount? Please clarify the difference!

Sounds decietful to me. If MotorHomes/Rv’s are Not covered, why didn’t you say that.
Or did I miss something……………
