“Holy Cow, We’re 80 Now!” was chosen as the theme for this special “80th Anniversary” after 596 entries were narrowed down to 1. The winning theme was entered by Ms. Kathleen Densing. Ms. Densing has won the Fair theme contest once before with the 2006 Antelope Valley Fair & Alfalfa Festival theme, “Let the Good Times Grow!” When told her entry won, she exclaimed, “I’m so excited! I spent all day thinking of themes!”
