Camp Club Conflict

Dear ActionLine:

I would like you to resolve this problem for me if you can and I hope you can. I have been a Camp Club USA member year’s now and for the most part been satisfied. I referred a friend and was supposed to get a $25 gift card when he called and joined. They said they would send the gift card in 4 weeks. Needless to say that did not happen.

I called them in February and was told again that I would get it in 2 weeks. It did not happen. I called on 3/7/2011 and ask to speak to a supervisor after being assured that one would call me back in less than an hour. That did not happen.

I called back on 3/11/2011 and talked to Jerald and he said he would take care of it – that he had seen where it was documented, that I had called, and a supervisor had not called me back. I asked to talk to a supervisor then and got a senior supervisor and who assured me that I would get the certificate and he would extend my membership for 3 months and that I should receive it in 2 weeks. Well that did not happen either. It is now 4/3/2011 and I have not received the $25 certificate. I would like them to keep their word and send my certificate and extend my membership.

Betty Abramson, I contacted you and received a copy of the letter that you sent to Camp Club USA on April 8, 2011. On April 13 2011, I got a call from Chery Ostermavs saying that they had a computer problem, and I would receive the gift certificate in 2 weeks. Today I received the certificate, April 30,2011. I would like to thank you for your help in this matter I don’t know if I would have got it had you not have helped AGAIN. Thank you very much.

We have just arrived home form our Vacation. We visited Elvis Presly’s home in Graceland and stayed 2 days at Graceland RV park, which is a Good Sams Sponsored Park. We made Reservations and gave our Good Sam Card number. When we arrived at Graceland to check in the lady asked how many was in the party. I replied 4 Adults would be staying 2 nights there. She Charged us with a surcharge $4.00 per night for 2 adults for a total $94.15 for the complete stay with no Cable Television. I asked her why she was charging $4.00 per day for 2 adults extra for the stay she said it was their Policy. I express my displeasure of their Policy. If I should ever go back to Graceland I would hope to find a different RV Park.
