Television host Stew Oleson and crew stop by the Jayco Corporation, the largest privately owned manufacturer of RV’s, for a quick tour of the facilities. The Jayco Corporation houses nine factory lines employing over 1,100 people including some from the local Amish community. 125 Rv’s are produced everyday or around 600 a week, and each product is checked and re-checked before it’s shipped out.

  1. The layoffs were completed on Thursday, said Akos Sefcsik, director of operations for Jayco in Twin Falls. He declined to provide a figure for how many employees were laid off, but told the Twin Falls Times-News in November 2009 that the plant planned to operate with a payroll of more than 180 employees after hiring 30 during a companywide production increase.
