New in 2017, Sandy Pines Maine Campground offers 320 sites charmingly immersed in beautiful, lush woods. Bordering salt marsh, just one mile to Goose Rocks Beach, sweet ocean breezes and the sounds of crashing waves add sensory delight to your stay. We are conveniently located 10 minutes from Kennebunkport’s bustling Dock Square. With shops, world class restaurants, art galleries and attractions – just far enough away to provide a relaxing experience.
Sandy Pines Campground offers camping for every type of camper
Our overnight RV and tent sites feature new fire rings with adjustable grills and picnic tables. Full hook up sites offer 50amp electricity, cable, sewer and water. Our site sizes range from petite tent sizes to very large RV sites that can accommodate Class A Motor Homes. RV sites are set on crushed stone, making it easier to park and level. Some of our most beautiful sites are our dry tent sites. They border protected salt marsh and offer incredible scenic views. We have 100 seasonal sites, dedicated to park models and RVs with many sites. They border the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge, protected Maine forest and a natural habitat that will never be developed.
For the camper who’d like something a bit more luxurious, we also offer 12 uniquely designed luxe glamping tents. With 430 square feet of space, these tents feature a king-sized bed, luxury bedding, air conditioners, mini fridges, fans, clothing storage, indoor and outdoor seating areas and more! Situated in “Glamp Tent Village”, glampers can make new friends at the communal picnic/grilling area or roasting marshmallows at the nightly bonfire. A new, dedicated bathhouse features toilet/shower combinations with tasteful fixtures. Three of our glamp tents are perfect for families with smaller tents, offering two twin beds, just for the kids!

Our property offers an array of resort level amenities. Our Lodge is the community hub at Sandy Pines Campground and here you’ll find the General Store and Snack Bar.
The General Store is stocked with a wide assortment of camping essentials, grocery items, including adult beverages, to ensure you have what you need for a worry-free stay. Grab a breakfast sandwich, hot coffee, burger, fries and light bites at our Snack Bar! You can also order a fresh Maine lobster dinner at our Snack Bar, and it will be ready for pick up the following day.
Sparkling new bathhouses are cleaned multiple times a day, and feature free showers. Our heated saltwater pool and kids’ pool are a great way to spend an afternoon. Kids’ Kamp features a new playground, outdoor ping pong and assortment of games to keep the kids entertained. A local vendor is available to provide kayaks, stand up paddleboards and bikes to rent.
With an array of thoughtful amenities, family-centric activities, spacious grounds, and just a short drive to one of Kennebunkport’s most beautiful beaches, this is camping at its best.
