RV Park
Situated on the banks of Long Lake, the RV park offers 30/50 full hookups with restroom and shower facilities. An absolutely beautiful setting including a community fire pit. It is a Great destination for groups. Kids will love our new splash pad. A banquet room and a pavilion are available.

Luxurious cabins, nestled in a secluded wooded setting, will appeal to the outgoing and the private alike! Couples can enjoy a weekend away with our Honeymoon suite, designed for that special memory! Bank Fishing
The park has two private, natural lakes – Long Lake and Terrell Lake – each lake is around 45 to 50 acres. The lakes are both naturally stocked full of largemouth bass, crappie, sunfish, catfish. All fish are native to Oklahoma waters. All Lodging Rentals include free Bank Fishing. Management offers complete fishing trips, including boat, motor and tackle. As our slogan says, “We make memories” and catching that special fish, with that special person is a GREAT way to do it!
Horseback Riding & Hiking Trails
Enjoy a casual stroll along the banks of both lakes and scenic mountain views overlooking Long Lake Resort & RV Park. The Resort features approximately 5 miles of hiking trails that include varying types of terrain. You are sure to enjoy spotting the many types of wildlife here at Long Lake. There are many convenient trailhead locations around the resort allowing easy access to the trails. The trails are great for mountain biking too! Trail maps are available inside the office.

Cavanal Hill is boasted as the world’s highest hill at 1,999 ft above the surrounding terrain. Cavanal Hill derives its name from the French word meaning “cave,” and was a famous landmark for the French and American Indians over 150 years ago. Travel up four and a half miles of blacktopped road to the top and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Poteau River valley and surrounding areas. Enjoy gazing at the stars from atop the hill, enjoy a picnic under the newly remodeled pavilion, or have your photo taken by the famous Cavanal Hill Rock.
The LeFlore County Museum at Hotel Lowrey
The LeFlore County Museum at Hotel Lowrey has 25 plus rooms of artifacts. A revolving exhibit housing the Century of Medicine in LeFlore County. Artifacts include the civil war, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The President’s room emphasizing John F. Kennedy’s visit to the area in 1961, and the “ghost” room. There are artifacts from the Spiro Mound Indians. See the large collection of other Native American Indians tribes. There are many artifacts from the coal industry, railroads, and fossils of the area. Located in Downtown Poteau, OK at 303 Dewey Avenue in the Historic Hotel Lowrey.
