    I would like to sincerely thank Rod Marsh of “Les Schwab” tire centre in “Elma Washington” for the help beyond the call of duty when my wife and I set out from Chilliwack B.C. and developed a front self lubricating wheel hub problem which Rod discovered right away and fixed the problem with a spare part that he found somewhere in the shop. Our trip continued down the Oregon Coast HWY101 and a very spectacular adventure. Thankyou again Rod Marsh of Les Schwab in Elma Washington, you certainly know your business.

    This is Red Canyon at South Pass Wyoming, near Lander.

  7. Photo on page 87 is on hiway 28 South of Lander, Wyoming.

  8. Photo on page 87 in Fall Edition is Red Canyon located between Lander & South Pass, WY.

  9. The picture in the late fall issue of Highways photo contest was taken of Red Canyon a Few mile south-east of Lander Wy. It is at the northern end of South Pass. It is winter range for wildlife and is owned by the Wyoming Game & Fish Dept.

    I am thinking that the photo on page 62 of the may2011 highway was taken in the red rock canyon out side of las vegas nev.

  14. In the February book on page 54 Where’s Good Sam, they asked if we could identify the location. I’m guessing it’s West Beach Vista on Whidbey Island in the State of Washington
