Good Sam Roadside Assistance: Celebrity Apprentice Special $59.95The cast of NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice” took on the challenge of marketing Good SamRoadside Assistance in the April 29th episode. Team Unanimous, led by late night talk show host Arsenio Hall and with singer and actress Aubrey O’Day and New Jersey Housewife Teresa Guiddice as team members, was the ultimate winner of the challenge. Teams had to write and produce a 90-second jingle for Good Sam Roadside Assistance.

Good Sam himself made a cameo appearance during the jingle presentation portion of the episode. As the winning team project manager, Hall received $20,000 for his charity, the Magic Johnson Foundation, plus an additional $25,000 and proceeds from the sale of the Good Sam bobblehead mascot, both donated by Good Sam Chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis, who chose the winning jingle.

Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universe 2008 and project manager of Team Forte, was fired by business mogul Donald Trump at the end of the episode. Remaining contestants include pop singer Clay Aiken and comedian Lisa Lampanelli, who were part of Team Forte.

I enjoyed the “oldie but goodie” Good Sam jingle better. It reminded me of the time when people interacted more, socialize more and were more civil towards one another; it’s what young people need now. It is quite unfortunate that Mr. Lemunis did not choose the jingle, maybe he was taken by the cheerleader. Is there a way that the “oldie but goodie” Good Sam jingle can be used?

Love Good Sam, don’t love the “hot cheerleader” routine on “The Celebrity Apprentice”. That was completely out of touch with the demographic you are trying to reach.

Where do we get a “Good Sam BobbleHead as seen on Celebrity Apprentice?
