rvAre you ready to make the investment for your next BIG toy? Considering buying a recreational vehicle? If so, you might want to consider first renting different styles/sizes of RVs, before making a choice on which one to ultimately purchase. There are many things to consider, including price, size (length), and type (fifth wheel, gooseneck, or ball hitch). Not to mention all of the extras, such as sliders, electronic add-ons, and such.

To ensure you feel comfortable with the choice you will eventually make, why not take a couple practice runs and rent different RVs from Camping World RV Rentals? This way you will hopefully avoid having buyer’s remorse once the big purchase has been made and you are “stuck” with your choice. Spend a few weekends or even weeks over the summer when you can try different RVs to really zero in on what you would feel comfortable with owning long term. Some things to take into consideration when thinking in terms of size…many campsites have a maximum length requirement. For example, the Grand Canyon Village has a 30-foot trailer maximum rule, which means if you have a 34-footer and you want to camp there, you will have to look elsewhere. Others campgrounds may not have hookups or places to dump.

There are many options to consider, but more importantly, you want to make the most of the money you spend. Calculating how many people you will need beds for as well as the different size engines RVs come with are two other important concerns to consider. “Try before you buy” is a motto that will help you in your search for the perfect RV for you and your family. Plan a road trip, rent an RV, and hit the road for the adventure of a lifetime. Then trade it in for another size/style RV and go somewhere else that you have been dying to take the family for ages. Before you know it, you will have figured out which one is perfectly suited to your needs and by process of elimination, will be more confident in your ultimate choice. At the very least, you will be more knowledgeable about RVs in general.

In addition to the good information above, you'll want to read “Before You Buy RV…” at http://FifthWheelSt.com/before_you_buy.html and use the only RV towing vehicle verifier app at http://BYBRV.com
