This segment of Quick Tips starts with a tip to keep your holding tank clean when you are airing it out. The second tip is a way to hang your paper towels on the outside of your RV. The third tip has a way to help keep your RV floors clean when mechanics come in and do maintenance. The last tip helps you with not burning what you are baking if your trays are close to the burners in your stove.

The next time I read a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I imply, I do know it was my choice to learn, but I really thought youd have something fascinating to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you may repair when you werent too busy searching for attention.

There is a very simple way to rid the air from you water hose and not have it enter the plumbing and all too often overlooked; nothing extra to hook up!
Before turning on the shore-station/site water valve, direct your water tank selector valve “CITY-FILL” valve to the FILL position. Now turn on the supply water at the faucet and allow the air to purge into the fresh water holding tank. Once you no longer hear air moving out of the hose into the tank (5-10 seconds), reposition the CITY-FILL selector valve back to the CITY position. Now your ready to use the water inside without any air at the fixtures…how simple was that!

Recently you had quick tip on getting the air out of your hose before hooking it up. It used a ‘Y’ connector and a second hose. I have an easer method.

I use a single shut off on the RV end of the hose. Close shut off, connect hose, turn on water, open shut off to get air out and flush hose. Connect to RV and no air. You can direct hose away from RV to keep area where you walk dry. Also when you disconnect, turn off shut off valve, turn off water, open shut off valve to relieve pressure, and you can eliminate a shower at RV fitting.

You can also leave shut off on hose for storage.

      Simple and easy.
