Loretta Lynn’s Ranch is a full-service campground, tourist attraction and event/concert facility located in Hurricane Mills, TN. The campground offers full RV hookup sites as well as water and electric sites. There are also 17 cabins available for rental as well as our spacious “Bunkhouse” cabin that offers two queen size beds and 4 bunk beds. Most cabins and many RV sites feature a charcoal grill available. Additionally, we also offer “primitive” tent camping. Perfect for family outings so you can kick back around a relaxing campfire and enjoy beautiful rural Tennessee. Full size Bathhouses are also available onsite and two convenient stores on property offer essentials and food options, making the Ranch a “One stop” perfect family vacation!
Loretta has also made her mark on this quaint historic town.
Established in 1867 and purchased and updated by Lynn in the 1960’s the 19th century grist mill is still on the property. It now houses gift shops, guided tours of Loretta’s replicated childhood home-place, simulated coal mine, and Plantation home.
There are several museums on the property, including artifacts of the historic grist mill. There is also Loretta’s collection of Native American artifacts and the famous 18,000 sq. ft. Coal Miner’s Daughter museum. The museum spans Loretta’s career with all exhibit notes handwritten by Loretta telling her story in her own words.
The property runs adjacent to pristine spring-fed Hurricane Creek and offers picturesque hillside views, water activities like kayaking, tubing and fishing.
The campground has amenities such as a swimming pool and Guided Horseback tours. There are hiking/bicycling trails that crisscross the property which sits on over 3000 acres of beautiful rural countryside. On event weekends, we also host special events like concerts, dirt bike rides, horseback rides, weddings, and gatherings of all kinds including Friday/Saturday “Campfire shows” offering family fun and community. The facility truly offers something for everyone.
