Good Sam Parks across the Sunbelt are decking the halls and stocking up on champagne in anticipation of the holiday season. Golf cart parades, clubhouse dances and chapter gatherings are just a few of the ways Good Sam Parks herald the holidays.

At Horseshoe Cove Carefree RV Resort, an 8.5/9*/7.5-rated Good Sam Park in Bradenton, Florida, the staff revs up its yuletide engines early. On the week before Christmas, the park stages a nighttime golf cart parade with holiday lights, a jolly Santa Claus and an elf who tosses out candy. The caravan meanders through the park, then motors to a neighboring RV park to spread the cheer.

Recycling gets a holiday twist at Silver View RV Resort, a Good Sam Park in Bullhead City, Arizona. The Good Sam Park uses funds generated from its recycling efforts to pay for a big New Year’s party at the clubhouse. The family-owned park, rated 9.5/10*/10, also springs for champagne.

Good Sam Club chapters flock to Cloud Nine RV Park during the holidays to celebrate in the lavishly decorated clubhouse at the Hot Springs, Arkansas, Good Sam Park. More than a dozen chapters hold their holiday festivities at the 7.5/9.5/9-rated park, says park staffer Annie Wallenberg.
