Lake Shawnee
Lake Shawnee offers fishing, boating, sailing, and swimming. Within the 1,100-acre park surrounding the lake are foot trails, a golf course, a marina, tennis courts, shelter houses, and ball diamonds. There is also a campground that has 140 sites, visited each year by people from 48 states and several countries. The campground features 30 and 50 amp hookups and a dump station just across the road. There is also an 11 acre Arboretum and 9.5 acres of beautiful gardens.

Deer Creek Valley RV Park
Welcome to Topeka’s top-rated RV Park. Deer Creek Valley RV Park is located in Topeka, just off I-70 @ Exit 364B. We are in a quiet setting yet centrally located near major shopping, restaurants and services. Grocery, hardware stores, discount stores and fast-food restaurants are all within short driving distance from our Park.
We are located just a short ride from Lake Shawnee, where you can enjoy fishing, boating, jet skiing, paddle boating, and a beautiful 8 mile trail around the entire lake for walking or bike riding.
Deer Creek Valley RV Park is concrete throughout with beautiful landscaping, surrounded by trees and fully fenced with a security gate. The Park offers 54 pull thru, full hook-up sites and 5 back-in sites. Sparkling clean restrooms and showers with handicap-accessible stalls. Restrooms building also serves as a storm shelter. An updated laundry room is also housed in the bathhouse building. In the warmer weather, you can enjoy the outdoor 20×40 in-ground pool, while the playground and fenced pet play area is open year-round.
Other amenities include Free Wi-Fi, Free Cable TV, Pop machine in front of the office, and Ice.
Camping groups (10 units or more) can use the meeting room for their events.
Just outside the park, LonnieQ’s BBQ restaurant is open daily for lunch between 11:00am & 1:00pm, and Friday for dinner between 5:30pm & 7:30pm.
