Head to Daytona Beach This Winter for Fun in the Sun!
Spend your days in the warm weather and sunshine in Daytona Beach, Florida. Most RVers are quite fond of the weather in Florida, but did you know how much there is to see and do? For the outdoor enthusiasts, there is a variety of activities to fill your days. The beautiful weather and location make Daytona great place to learn to snorkel in the crystal clear springs at the state parks or if you’re interested in a bigger adventure, strap on the scuba gear and visit the many artificial reefs along the coast. For those folks who feel more comfortable in the boat than in the water, you can join a deep-sea fishing excursion or enter a fishing tournament. Take advantage of all of the great fun to be had in the Atlantic Ocean!
If golf is your game, the famous professional golf courses in the area are ranked in the top 15 places to play in the United States. Take a swing at the well-known LPGA International Golf Course or Daytona Beach Golf Club.
Most people are familiar with the Daytona 500 in February, but there tons of events and tours throughout the year for you to take part in. The beautiful beachside city also has a lot of culture that can be found at the Halifax Historical Museum and performing art venues.
