March 7, 2012 (Chicago, IL) – Camping World, the nation’s largest RV and outdoor retailer, will be opening their newest retail location in Anderson, CA. The location will be officially named Camping World of Redding and offer a wide array of RV sales, service and accessories for the outdoor enthusiast.
Camping World of Redding will be located at 3700 Auto Mall Drive in Anderson, CA at exit 670 off I-5. This new 37,776 square foot facility will encompass both a Camping World retail store and Camping World RV Sales dealership in addition to an RV Collision Center on-site.
“Our company branching in to the Redding, California market makes perfect sense,” said Roger Nuttall, president of Camping World RV Sales. “Redding is known for its abundance of national and state parks, lakes, rivers, and streams which makes our new location ideal to serve the needs of outdoor and camping enthusiasts.”
The tentative grand opening celebration is slated for May 2012. Customers will find bargains on hundreds of new and pre-owned RVs from top lines such as Keystone, Winnebago as well as Starcraft and offer a large product offering of RV parts, accessories and service.
The company is looking to employ between 30 to 35 employees to increase their sales, service and support needs for this local dealership and accessory store. Nearby Camping World SuperCenter locations include facilities in Vacaville, CA and Roseville, CA.
“We are always looking to expand our business into new areas, and we are very excited about serving the Northern California community,” said Marcus Lemonis, Camping World Chairman and CEO. “Our knowledgeable and trained team looks forward to providing one stop shopping RV conveniences to the Redding area in the near future.”

We are always looking to expand and more locations to the Camping World family. While we are based in the United States we greatly care about the Great White North! We love our Canadian members and want to always provide the most value we can. A Canadian Camping World might just help alleviate many of the Shipping woes our Canadian members have to deal with. We won’t import a US work force we of course would hire locally in any venue we establish. Over all we are actively looking to expand into Canada, however we have no time frame when that might happen.

Why the Hell would you say Camping World should come to Canada???
Isn’t their enough US companies in Canada?? What about all the Canadian stores it will close! Jobs lost? All so you can save $4 on a box of T-5? Go live in the States if you love supporting them!
Good Sam says: I am sorry you feel that way. However throwing fire at another for posting their opinion is not something we like seeing, please keep your posts respectful.

Would be nice to see some of Camping World stores open up in Canada. It seams to me that most features that are more use full to the members are mostly blocked to Canadian members.
