Bear Creek Artichokes is a Welcome Respite for all Travelers on Oregon’s Highway 101.
Between Pacific City and Tillamook, just north of Cloverdale, Bear Creek Artichokes is the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or an in-between-meals snack.
The café offers house-made soups, sandwiches and bakery items. If the apple dumplings are on the menu, they’re a must – and a scoop of ice cream just adds to the deliciousness! And, of course, there are coffees, teas, wine, and beer for on-sale or to take with you.
If you want just a nibble, sample some of the house-made dips, spreads, hummus, and jams. Take some with you for later, along with crackers or pretzels. Pacific Northwest products – including Oregon hazelnuts – are featured. Fresh produce is always available – all from nearby sources. Grown-on-the-grounds produce is coming soon – featuring, of course, artichokes. And locally harvested Netarts Bay oysters are kept chilled in their shells.
Bear Creek’s store is filled with gift items, clothing, fun kites, and windsocks and decorative items. Be sure to take time to wander through the greenhouse and nursery – full of flowers, bedding plants, and herbs. There’s seating inside the greenhouse and on the flower-bedecked patio between the store and greenhouse. Plus, of course, seating indoors.
So stop by Bear Creek Artichokes – a one-of-a-kind gourmet market, produce and flower shop and café – and give yourself a break from your drive along Oregon’s scenic coast.
