Bryce Canyon Country is full of amazing riding trails that take you through ponderosa pines and red rock countryside, and most are accessible by your RV. Whether in rain or shine, you will enjoy Garfield County’s diverse and interactive ATV rides. With miles upon miles of breathtaking ATV routes, we’ve provided a list of some our favorite ones.

ATV Trails

Badger Creek Loop:

Travel this 20-mile trail to experience many high mountain meadows and thick pines in Dixie National Forest. This course takes about three hours, including a lunch break, and is best for intermediate ATV riders. Ride to high ridges for numerous and diverse majestic views.

Casto Canyon Ride:

Experience rural, downtown Panguitch and its beautiful surrounding countryside on this intermediate-level trail. Plan five hours to fully enjoy this 36-mile ride and have time for unforgettable pictures and stunning vistas. On the way, be sure to stop by Peterson Point, a must-see location.

Paunsaugunt ATV Trail:

Discover a green ponderosa pine terrain speckled with red rock wonders in the Powell Ranger District of the Dixie National Forest. With over 76 miles of picturesque trails, you can truly uncover its beauty. After lunch, make your way to the 9,000 foot Wilson Peak Overlook in Hatch.

Fremont ATV Trail:

Ride north to south from Circleville to the Tropic Reservoir for an expansive 50-mile wonder trip. Catch Garfield’s most breathtaking red rock sights by riding through the heart of Dixie National Forest and Red Canyon. The elevation will range from 7880 feet at Tropic Reservoir, to 9030 feet at Smith Canyon and finally 6080 feet at Circleville.

Pine Lake Trail:

Enjoy this calmer 21-mile loop that goes through Pine Lake, Powell Point Overlook, around Pole Canyon and back to Pine Lake. This less-challenging dirt road offers spectacular views of green forests, a glistening lake, colorful mountain beauties and views at over 10,000 feet. This is a great trail the kids will enjoy.

Powell Point:

Savor in true freedom with no trail restrictions on this 20-mile trip. Riders will enjoy a 3/4 mile hike to the top of Powell Point with majestic 10,000 foot views. This intermediate trail passes through Pine Lake and Red Canyon for a complete, diverse landscape experience. Don’t worry about getting lost, because the roads are clearly marked.

Ticaboo Mesa Trail:

Journey on several ATV loops to see spectacular views of Ticaboo Canyon and Lake Powell. Take time to explore the beautiful red rock country with its sandstone fins, one-of-a-kind lake and many canyon adventures. Ticaboo is only minutes from world-class fishing and other fun recreational activities.
