Outdoor Game Table is Functional Camp Addition

Coleman Outdoor Game TableThey call it the Game Table, but this Coleman® table is sized just right for all kinds of different activities, both at the campsite and at home. It is a full foot wider on each side, when compared to a standard card table, and accommodates eight people. The chip trays are not integral to the tabletop, so if you are serving meals or playing bunko they can be stored elsewhere, leaving a smooth surface to work with.  The table folds in the middle, resulting in a 4-foot by 2-foot pseudo-rectangle, that should fit inside most RV pass-through storage compartments. The chip trays and legs stow inside the table.

With all of those legs, this is probably not the ideal solution for rough-terrain sites, but to be fair, 4-legged tables can be a challenge to level in those situations, too. Those eight legs do make for a sturdy table, though, as Coleman claims a 300-pound weight capacity. The table itself weighs 26 pounds.

I like the idea of a round-style table for camping. For one thing, everyone can share the light from a centrally placed lantern, but a round table also just feels more social for everyone involved. These reasons, plus the ability to seat eight people, make the Outdoor Game Table an interesting alternative to the traditional folding camp table.

Happy camping!
