On behalf of Woodall Publications I’d like to welcome you to the Woodall’s official RV destination and family camping blog.
Our vision for this blog is simple: to develop a place where people who enjoy camping with friends and family can come together to explore new camping ideas share old ones; A place where moms and dads, grandmothers and grandfathers alike can read how others grew closer to the children in their lives through the joy of the great outdoors, and where inexperienced RVers and campers of all ages can come for advice and help from a community of expert authors and guest authors, all who are fellow campers who have hiked a mile (or more) in their boots.
Woodall’s has been around for a lifetime of experiences as a company, serving the RV and camping industries. In fact, 2010 marks our 75th anniversary of the company and the 2011 edition of our campground directory will be our 75th anniversary edition. Over the years, the eyes of this company have seen more changes than I could mention in as single post. But one thing always remains the same – the spirit of the camper. Campers and RVers are a unique community of people, comprised of generous, welcoming outdoor enthusiasts who, no matter how busy, computerized and impersonal our world may become, will always value the freedom and serenity of the beautiful outdoors.
I am proud to introduce myself to you as a member of the camping community myself, as a Director in the Woodall’s organization, and as part of the 75 year old tradition that is Woodall’s accompanying campers and RVers as they make their most precious memories on the road.
I invite you to join in the conversation here by telling us your best story or favorite place to go, on our – er, I mean, your – blog. Campers and RVers are invited to submit a guest blog by using the submission box in the right hand column. Please help us to grow our blog by sharing your comments on our posts, signing up to receive an RSS or email feed of updated content, and by telling your friends and family about our new blog.
Myself and my colleagues at Woodall’s are listening! We welcome your feedback and discussion. I invite you to reply to this post with any comments, or you may email me directly at [email protected] with any comments.
Until next time, happy travels.
Sincerely,
Genevieve Branco
Director of Brand Marketing, Woodall’s.
