In 1969, a blended family of five kids and two parents set off on a camping trip in their new pop-up trailer. Sure, it sounds like an episode of The Brady Bunch, but Mary Capo’s very real recollection of her clan’s fun-filled adventures was the top vote-getter in Affinity’s RV Memory Contest. Cosponsored by the Good Sam Club, RV.net and Woodall Publications, the contest celebrated this year’s centennial of the manufactured recreational vehicle.
Mary Capo’s travel tale was one of five finalists selected from hundreds of submissions posted on RV.net and voted on throughout September. Congratulations go to Mary, who wins 100 gallons of fuel.
