Pebblie Hill Plantation (top left) is open to the public as a museum. In this mansion sitting on 3,000 acres, you will find a magnificent collection of antique 19th century furniture, silver, art, glass-work, and porcelain. This home is an excellent representation of Tara-style architecture.
Also, in the area is Melhana, a.k.a. The Coalson Plantation (bottom left). This property is immersed in history. It has 30 buildings and is situated on 50 acres. This elegant home/inn is just too lovely to miss.
There is so much to see and do in Thomasville depending on the month you are visiting. If you are touring Georgia in your RV, there is a nice park to stay.
