Palm Gardens MHC & RV Park, Mesa, Arizona

This 55-plus community puts guests in the heart of Mesa, one of Arizona’s most dynamic cities. Featuring full-hookup RV sites as well as outstanding mobile home rentals, the resort offers various models for rent with easy access to shopping centers, golf courses, water parks, highways and major attractions. Enjoy top manufactured homes for rent combined with five-star property management services. The RV park boasts a variety of sites for larger models.

Amenities include restroom and showers, laundry, self-service RV wash and restrooms. Unwind in the swimming pool or hot tub, or pump those competitive juices at the game room or shuffleboard court. Within 10 miles of the Palm Gardens, guests can ride ATVs, hit a hiking trail or go mountain biking.

Adventurous guests can take excursions to the nearby Superstition Mountains, Apache Trail and Verde River. Route 66 RV Park, Elk City, Oklahoma

Route 66 served as America’s Mother Road for much of the 20th century, and the stretch that runs through Oklahoma continues to inspire modern travelers. Route 66 RV Park is located just off Historic Route 66 (called Loop Interstate 40 to modern motorists). The park sits just one block away from Elk City’s Historic Route 66 Museum for travelers eager to take a trip into the past. Have fun at Ackley Park, home to a carousel, miniature train and miniature golf. Ackley Park accommodates big parties to recognize special occasions. Schedule your visit to coincide with Christmas in the Park celebrations, minor league baseball games, train rides around the park’s gorgeous lake or a relaxing swim in the large public pool.

    Twin Fountains RV Resort

Twin Fountains RV Resort serves up a Sooner-size menu of diversions for guests. The resort’s smooth roads and wide sites accommodate bigger vehicles. Forty-foot concrete pads, double sewer hookups and trash pickup ensure a pleasant stay. Families who want to burn off energy after a long journey can cut loose on the mini-golf course or play area. On hot days, nothing beats the pool or splash pad, and the hot tub is available for folks who want to soothe tired muscles.

At the end of the day, dig in at the Semper Fi Bar & Grill, where a hearty meal of pizza, burgers and wings along with great drinks will satisfy your appetite. For more fun, bring the family over to the clubhouse for ping pong, foosball and pool. Throw a summer bash at the glassed-in pavilion, with lots of grills and tables.

Hop on a free shuttle within three miles of the Twin Fountains for a ride to the OKC Zoo, the Science Museum or Cowboy Hall of Fame. It’s a great way to explore the crown jewel of the Sooner State.

Ridgeview RV Park & Resort, Abilene, Texas

Comfort and convenience are high priorities in this central Texas park. Fire up a gas firepit for a comfortable evening, or take advantage of the laundry and bathroom facilities on site. Paved roads lead you to comfortable sites, and once you’re settled in, the park’s high-speed Internet brings the world to your device without a hitch. Use the cleaning service to keep things tidy or park your RV for the long-term in one of the storage units. Campers with an itch to socialize can partake in some of the campground’s many events. Live music and food trucks keep things interesting throughout the year.

Hit the town of Abilene for a taste of Old West Lone Star history. Frontier Texas tells the story of the area’s early days with life-size holograms; it’s one of the only museums in the world to utilize this amazing technology. Get a firsthand look at the town’s role in history with a Historical Downtown Walking Tour, leading you to places like the T & P Depot, the railroad station that played a big role in the state’s growth. The whole family will love the Abilene Zoo and Storybook Capital of America.
