    James Island County Park is a 643-acre refuge for vacationers offering tidal creek fishing, trails for walking, biking and skating, a seasonal waterpark and a 50-foot climbing wall.

    Tucked away in the scenic park setting, the 124-site RV campground is complete with full hook-ups and 24-hour security. RVer can take advantage of the full-service campground store complete with propane, ice and firewood sales, an activity center, free Wi-Fi, grills, ceramic bathhouses, and laundry facilities. Other features include pull-thru sites, a dump station, wheelchair accessibility and 30/50-amp service.

    Also nestled within James Island County Park are 10 modern vacation cottages, offering stellar views of the Stono River Marsh and equipped with all the conveniences needed for a relaxation. Each cottage has three bedrooms, is fully furnished and sleeps up to eight. Enjoy a fully-stocked kitchen, bathroom, linens, phones, television, and a marsh-front screened porch.
