Good Sam Gets the Job Done

Texas Good Sam Club Life member Wayne Heckman asked Action Line to speed things up when it came to replacing the dinged refrigerator door in his new motorhome:

Last September I purchased a brand new Tiffin 2012 Allegro Bus from Ancira RV in Boerne, Texas. During the walk-through, I noticed that the KitchenAid refrigerator had a ding in the door. The dealership’s response was that they’d make a note of it, and I could contact Tiffin directly for a replacement. I found this puzzling but went along with it.

Tiffin responded as they always do and mailed me a new door. I took the door to Ancira to install and even showed the service manager which door was to be replaced. When I went to pick up my motorhome, I saw that the wrong door had been replaced.

The Ancira salesperson said the correct door was on order and I would be contacted when it arrived. That was two months ago. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Shortly after Good Sam contacted Ancira RV on Wayne Heckman’s behalf, Kevin Ketner sent Action Line the following response:

I wanted you to know that Wayne Heckman’s refrigerator door issue has been resolved. The correct door has been received from Tiffin by Ancira. Mr. Heckman has picked up the door and will get it installed himself. At this point, we hope that Mr. Heckman is happy and his correct door is installed to his satisfaction.
