front curtains for privacy

Have you considered setting up front curtains for privacy?

Let the sun shine in but keep the gawkers from looking through the large front windshield of your Class A motorhome with the installation of midheight café curtains. If your coach has a split front windshield, buy two spring-tension curtain rods or one that will span side-to-side if yours is a one-piece window. They simply spring into place and can easily be adjusted for height.

You can now enjoy the sunlight and sights without feeling like you are on display.

That is just what we did. We also use the shower rod to hold nice insulated curtains behind the cockpit seats while winter traveling. Allows dog to move freely between cockpit and rest of the coach.

Get two shorter rods and a short piece of pvc pipe to hold the ends of the two rods together in the middle.

Dowel rods work good too. In a pinch. an expandable paint pole handle (a bit bulky) works and can be also used to clean your RV

I love this! My dogs like to lay on the dash and this will keep them from tearing up the windshield curtain. Thank you.

Nothing new I’ve seen these all over. What would really help is sources. This is like talking about how good a food is but no recipe.

For those looking for a long enough spring tension rod. Would a shower curtain rod work?

I use plant screen you get from hardware store across the front it provides shade and you can see out but the vision isn’t very clear looking in.

Try checking Walmart for shower rods or in their curtain dept. Don’t know how long they are, but they have things you can’t find anywhere else. Just a thought.

An adjustable shower rod is an easy fix.

That should keep the seats from getting sun damage. It may also keep the rv cooler on the hot summer days.

WHEN WE HAD OUR WINNEBAGO JOURNEY WITH A WIDE FRONT WINDOW, WE USED A LONG/ THICK “PLANT STAKE” TO HANG THE VALANCE ON THE FRONT WINDOW.
YOU COULD GET SOME LONG PVC PIPES TO USE TOO.
