The designs in the new Loloho line of shirts celebrate the good ole USA as well as camping. For example there’s the shirt carrying the phrase: “NOT ALL WHO WANDER ARE LOST” (http://goo.gl/KNgQnD).
Beneath the phrase is a hand drawn image of America, complete with impressionistic renderings of Mount Rushmore, the Statue of Liberty, Route 66, a vintage RV camper, and our proud national bird to boot!
The expression is popular amongst travelers of all types, but it seems especially appropriate for RV travelers. After all, at times we indeed “wander” as we explore the United States. In fact, that’s why we love RV travel. It allows us to wander around America and experience life in great communities around the land.
These days, far too many Americans restrict themselves to visiting large cities. There’s certainly nothing wrong with New York and LA, but there’s a vast and beautiful continent that lies between the two.
Here’s a bit of trivia: the shirt’s timeless phrase originated in J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Tolkien wrote, “Not all those who wander are lost, not all that glitters is gold.” (If you’ve ever read the original books, you’ll recall that there’s a lot of song and poetry – almost as much as goblins and orcs!)
We love wandering the United States in search of new places, friends, and experiences.
This nation is so vast, one could spend a lifetime exploring it – and that’s what we plan to do.
