Parks in Focus: Parks that follow the patriotic drumbeat include Cherry Hill Park, located just minutes from Washington D.C.; America’s capital city hosts a spectacular musical and fireworks celebration on the National Mall. In New Mexico, the appropriately named USA RV Park on Route 66 puts on a special Fourth of July barbecue. Even Canada enjoys fireworks: Hazelmere RV Park & Campground in Surrey, British Columbia, holds July 1 Canada Day celebrations, but Yankee guests are welcome to celebrate the stars and stripes three days later.
