    Meteor Collision

Meteor Crater is the spectacular result of a collision that rocked the continent approximately 50,000 years ago with the energy of more than 20 million tons of TNT. The Meteor Crater offers an interactive educational experience for the entire family in a beautifully natural setting. The RV Park is just minutes from the fully air-conditioned Meteor Crater Visitors Center, where you can spend the day checking out all the attractions, including COLLISION!, an all-new 4D immersive theater experience. Visitors also can enjoy the Museum & Discovery Center, observation decks, indoor Crater viewing areas, guided rim tours, 80 seat widescreen theater and Apollo Space Capsule! And, if you want to refuel, you can fill your tank at the Blasted Bistro, Meteor Crater’s on-site restaurant and sweets stop.  Elevators and ADA accessibility are available for guests with special needs.

    Meteor Keepsakes

A trip to Meteor Crater isn’t complete without spending time in the Gift & Mineral Shop, where you can find all kinds of cool and unique keepsakes and swag, like minerals, jewelry, American-Indian art, science-based kids’ games, toys, shirts, hats, mugs and a whole lot more.

Meteor Crater RV Park is perfectly located to be your home base for touring attractions around Northern Arizona, including the Grand Canyon, Lowell Observatory, Havasupai Falls, Route 66, Snowbowl, Petrified Forest National Park, Canyon de Chelly, Sedona, Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village, Oak Creek Canyon, Lake Powell, Jerome, Verde Valley Wine Trail, Prescott, Williams, Cottonwood, Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
