Lone Star Park is a Class I horse racetrack and is also home to the multi-million dollar simulcast racebook, sports bar and event venue, Bar & Book. The 36,000 square foot Bar & Book venue is open to the public 363 days a year with free admission. The annual Lone Stars and Stripes Fireworks Celebration is one of the most popular and highest-attended events of the year in conjunction with the City of Grand Prairie. Held on July 3rd & 4th following live racing, the focal point is world-class fireworks spectacular.

On the west shore of Joe Pool Lake, Loyd Park Camping Cabins & Lodge covers about 790 acres of native Texas landscape, with more tranquility than you can handle.
