RVHosting an Awesome Tailgate Party really comes down to just two things: Scrumptious Food and Delicious Drinks! Whether its after a big game, a close race, or a tight chase, tailgate parties bring fans together to celebrate their favorite sports team, race car driver, or professional athlete!

When planning on hosting an awesome tailgate party, one must first consider the venue. If you have an RV, bring it! For one thing, it has your kitchen, bathrooms, and even a bed for those who party too hard, too fast and need a couch or bed to sleep it off on! Ideally you and your guests will have a nice warm meal and some refreshing drinks after your sporting event and BEFORE hitting the hay, but you just never know!

As the delightful host of the tailgate party, you will want to think of everything ahead of time, so that you don’t have to leave the event for a run to the store and wind up stock in the inevitable traffic that comes along with any major sporting event. You should stock up on booze, appetizers, some kind of meat to grill (think tri-tip, hot dogs, hamburgers, and barbecue chicken), and easy sides! Plan on having guests bring a side dish if you so choose or just pack some mouth-watering sides, such as potato salad, macaroni salad, baked potatoes (twice baked are especially yummy), or even a green salad. Garlic bread is always a yummy and easy side that pairs well with many main dishes!

Load up on beer, liquor, and juice mixes for delectable mixed drinks. Don’t forget to get lots of ice and pack your blender if its not already in the RV, for margaritas, mojitos, and pina coladas! Here are some recipes for unforgettably smooth mixed drinks. You will also want to stock up on water, chips, and dips, and other easy breezy yummy snacks to munch on while waiting for the main course.

Also don’t forget the lawn chairs, blankets, and an overhead canopy (or pull out your awning for some shade), for sitting comfortably outside the RV before and after the event. Then relax and enjoy the event, tailgate party, and good grub that comes with it!

Slap a smile on your face, whether your team won or lost, and enjoy Hosting an Awesome Tailgate Party!
