We love buffets! We enjoy the variety — being able to try a little of this, and a little of that.
I’m looking for reader participation in this post. Tell us all about your favorite buffets at RV Friendly casinos. Use the comments area, or click here and post to the thread I’ve started in the Open Roads Forum.
I’ll start us off with one: We enjoy the buffet at Main Street Station in downtown Las Vegas. MSS has a RV park with FHU and a buffet that is often seen on the list of “top buffet values” in Las Vegas. It’s an easy comp if you’re gambling, coupons are available in a number of places, and even full price it’s a good deal at $7.99 lunch to $13.99 dinner.
Happy travels and good luck!

You guys need to go a little farther north. Mystic Lake just south of the Twin Cities in Minnesota has a great buffet and very friendly gambling for all players.
The RV area is one of the best that we have found in a casino. It can also e comped with a little bit of gambling.

Terrible’s casino on I 35 in Iowa is one of the best in the mid-west
Good R. V. park & Good food. If you play at all your food will be free on points. Good place to buy Gas or Diesel. We live 175 mi. away and go every chance we get. Thats at Osceola, Ia. 34 Mi.Marker

We just came up the California coast and just north of Ventura on 101 off Hobson Road you can park parallel right beside the rocks on the ocean and look out your windows to the sea. The sunsets are fabulous. There is parking for over 110 RVs.

I’m surprised that “Terribles Lakeside RV Park and Casino in Pahrump, NV hasn’t been mentioned. Great park with 7 acre lake, fishing, paddle boats, canoes, heated pool & spa. Large level concrete spaces surrounded by grass lawns & shade trees, paved walking paths – plus a nice small casino and restaurant and reasonable buffet. Wow – I should be on their payroll. Now you will probably all fill it so I can’t get a space the next time!
Terribles also has a park in western Iowa. It’s OK but not close to the quality of the Pahrump park.

Hi Mac,
We, too, are fans of the MSS RV park in downtown Las Vegas and often enjoy their buffet. Another we stumbled upon, though, was the Gold Coast buffet (just west of the Rio). We used a POV coupon there and were pleasantly surprised by the quality, and the value for the money. Also, the French Market Buffet at The Orleans is an excellent value – the food is very good, they have a variety of ethnic cuisines, and the prices are very reasonable.

We have two favorites. One is The South Point Hotel and Spa on S. Las Vegas Blvd. The other is Seven Feathers Casino on I5 in Canyonville, Oregon. The 7 Feathers CG is beautiful and has free shuttle to casino.

Hey Regis Major,
We’re at the Hollywood Bay St. Louis, MS tonight 🙂
I ate about a 1/2 pound of shrimp, a bunch of snow crab legs, and 2 deserts. Loved it. For a Sunday night the buffet line was very long. Lucky for us we had comps, and the comp line was short!
The RV park looks OK, although they still don’t have grass growing. I think once they re-sod it and we get another year of growth on the trees it will be close to normal again. I’m told the golf course is in great shape.

If you’re in Minnesota the Grand Casino in Hinckley is the place. They have a great buffet and a excellent RV park.

We head to Biloxi, MS area twice per year. The only Casino with RV sites (very nice) in the area is the Hollywood Casino in Bay St Louis, MS. The people are friendly, casino pays fairly well and the buffet is excellent. The other casinos with buffets in the area are not bad.

Joel I’m sold!
We’ll be in Reno this summer and we’ll have to try that Grand Sierra buffet. I love prime rib, and the price sure is right (hope they keep that special going another couple of months)! The Grand Sierra has an RV park with full hookups.
Peppermill has RV parking in rows G and H only of the North parking lot. Parking is a little tight, difficult for big rigs, and they close it down sometimes for special events. Overnight is OK if you have a players club card.
Baldini’s is very RV friendly with a large RV overnight area behind the casino, between the casino and the convenience store (which has propane, and a dump station for a fee).

In Reno, NV area. Best lunch buffet is Peppermill Casino. Get one of their club cards, doesn’t cost anything. They have a 2 for 1 for $11.80 for two. Great food.
The best current dinner buffet in Reno is at the Grand Sierra Resort (used to be the Hilton). If you put your drivers license in the kiosk slot you can eat real prime rib, shrimp. crab legs ++++++ for $7.77 per person. Another decent lunch buffet is at Baldinis Casino in Sparks (next to Reno) get off US 395 at Glendae blvd, go east 3 blocks. It is a 2 for 1 for $ 8.58 for two. Decent food, every day is a different cuisine, Mexican, American, Asian etc.

The best buffet, and the greatest view, is Pala, California. It is not RV friendly, but just over the mountain is Pechanga, and that is a fabulous place to stay.

For a smaller casino, Spirit Lake Casino and Resort of Devils Lake, ND has an awesome buffet. They have a really nice wooded, newly developed RV park with full hookups and 50 amp service.

Rio does have a great buffet. We were disappointed once by their top-rated seafood buffet; but then we’ve lived on the Gulf and Atlantic coasts most of our lives 😉
Rio still allows RV overnight parking in their back lot, behind the convention center. It’s marked for oversize vehicles and you’ll see busses and trucks in there along with RV’s. We haven’t stayed there ourselves, but if I play the WSOP this year we may do so.

The Rio in Las Vegas, just off the strip has as awesome buffet. HUGE!! With chefs ready to prepare custom made selections. It’s a little pricey (around $30) but it has selections from around the world.

Most of the properties on the outskirts of Las Vegas are known for the buffets (I work in Law Enforcement in LV) and the lots are big enough to park. Most won’t let you stay overnight in the RV. I found another pretty good casino that is RV friendly. In Parker Az, the River Indian Casino allows RV over night stays and the buffet was pretty good. Not as good as in LV but good nonetheless!
