AM Solar of Springfield, Oregon has long been a favorite among RVers for their RV-specific solar installations and equipment. Greg and Deb Holder, owners of AMSolar, being RVers themselves, have concentrated on products unique to the RV market, and test them in actual use on RVs to make sure they are appropriate.
Now they have expanded their operations to include Installer Training Workshops,

a 5-day intensive workshop at their facility designed to enable students to learn a skill that can earn some money or provide confidence to the do-it-yourself installers.
This is how they pt it:

As more and more “Baby Boomers” retire and choose the RVing lifestyle, the demands for our installation services have grown to the point where we are booked out 3 to 4 months at a time and having to turn away some business. Many of the customers we turn away ask us if we know of any reputable installers we can refer them to. Currently, we only have a handful of installing dealers we can refer folks to and have decided we need to train more of them up to meet our customers needs.
This increasing demand for reputable, qualified installers is the primary reason we are holding our first ever Installer Training Workshop from Nov. 4th through the 8th at our facility in Springfield, OR. This will be an intensive 5 day workshop that will include a mix of classroom lectures, philosophy and hands-on training.
To ensure a balanced Instructor to Student time, this workshop will be limited to 8 participants. If there is enough demand, we will add a second workshop the following week from Nov. 11th through the 15th.
Note: The response has been good so we will be holding a second workshop from Nov. 11th through the 15th.
