Looking for a thrill? A new ride is opening this spring at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas. SkyJump Las Vegas will drop you over 800 feet at up to 40 MPH. This continues the Strat’s transformation from a Casino/Hotel to an Amusement Park. Just kidding – but they do already have three other thrill rides; Big Shot, X-Scream and Insanity. The Strat is walking distance from Circus Circus RV Park on the strip and a short bus ride or drive from Main Street Station RV Park downtown.
Tunica, MS The former Sheraton Casino, owned by Harrah’s, has been totally renovated with a southern rock theme. Now named the Tunica Roadhouse and Casino it’s located in Nederlandsegokken Casino Center along with the Horseshoe and Gold Strike. Overnight RV parking is allowed, but there are specific restrictions based on day of the week and other factors. Signs are posted. There are two RV parking areas so ask security to be sure you’re in the right place.
Happy Travels, and good luck in the casinos!

Thanks for the tip. Even though my brother lives in Las Vegas, That sounds like a nice RV park to check out next time I’m down there. Also, I have tried the other 3 thrill rides at the Stratosphere. Talk about adrenalin rushes! This new one sounds interesting.

When my husband and I go to Vegas we like to stay at “Oasis RV Resort”. It’s not free but the perks are worth the price. It’s located at the South end of the strip out of all the mayhem. They have two beautiful pools, one with a waterfall, hot tubs, and a miniature golf course that’s set up like a full size course and it meanders through the park. They also have a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a small theatre and entertainment on the weekends on their beautiful patios. It’s just a quick drive from all the major sites on the strip and just around the corner from a big outlet mall. We found the prices to be quite reasonable for what you get.

is there a website where you can chat with other campers, to find out some of their favorite place to camp?
