Hoodoo Recreation

Hoodoo Recreation owns and/or operates thousands of campsites in the Pacific Northwest. Plus, it owns Cascade Lake resort and lodge with cabins, dining and boat rentals. The campgrounds, lodge and RV parks offer visitors the chance to experience the best of the Oregon and Washington Cascades — from mountains to lakes to sunny slopes to forests and skiing — with hiking, boating, biking, fishing and more.

As owner, Hoodoo has four Good Sam parks in Oregon’s central Cascades. Dexter Shores, just 16 miles southeast of Eugene, sits across from Dexter Lake, where there are boat ramps for public use. The park features open sites — many with patios — and a clubhouse and rec room. The clubhouse deck overlooks the lake. Nearby covered bridges, fish hatcheries, biking and hiking trails, and a disc golf course offer the visitor plenty of activities.

Patio RV Park also is on the western slope of the Cascades near the Three Sisters Wilderness area and offers a secluded, peaceful setting with riverfront sites and river access. Camp Sherman and Cascade Junction are on the eastern slope of the Cascades, easily accessible from Bend and Crescent. Cascade Junction is only a short drive from Cascade Lake Resort with its beach, cabins, indoor and outdoor dining and boat rentals. RV guests are welcome to use the amenities of the resort.

In addition to its own parks, Hoodoo operates more than 150 Forest Service campgrounds throughout the Deschutes, Wenatchee, Gifford Pinchot and Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Forests.

And for winter sports enthusiasts, Hoodoo owns SkiHoodoo on the summit of Highway 20’s Santiam Pass, just 40 miles northwest of Bend. SkiHoodoo boasts 806 acres and offers Nordic as well as Alpine skiing, daycare and other winter sports fun.
