Welcome to Ohio

Like so much of the rest of the American Midwest, the Buckeye State sports the feel of classic small-town Americana—where communities are still built around tidy Main Streets, high school sports are a long-running way of life and family-owned farms are still going strong.

But it would be wrong to think Ohio is limited to gently rolling hills and farmland. Head for any of the state’s three big capital-C cities—Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati—and you’ll find all the amenities and attractions you could need. Highlights include the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, and the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus.

Venture abroad and you’ll find yourself exploring a world of humble small towns and communities, each with their particular charm. Along the way, you’ll find yourself stumbling across a surprising array of must-visit sights, especially for those traveling with children. Highlights include the Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Powell, the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.
