1. Port Charlotte

Starting Point

Visitors will delight in the 165 miles of waterways located here, making Port Charlotte the perfect destination for aquatic fun. Cast your line at Charlotte Harbor Flats Fishing and take the opportunity to hook redfish, snook and tarpon. The harbor beckons for exploration by scuba divers and snorkelers, but if you prefer to stay above the surface, you can rent a canoe or kayak for some enjoyable downtime on the water. Set sail on an evening cruise to witness dolphins frolicking in the water and the sun dipping below the horizon. It’s a great way to end the day.
