According to Scientists, 70% of the Earth’s surface is covered in water, 3% of that water is considered freshwater and an even smaller degree of that freshwater is considered drinkable.
With all the reports of late highlighting summertime heat waves across our country, and the focus of those reports being on the need for proper hydration, the ability to find fresh, drinkable water, either in an emergency situation, in the backcountry or as you travel on the open road is of utmost importance.
Failure to properly hydrate is one of the 7 Sins of Summer Safety.
