Camping isn’t always pretty, and neither is our latest Cooking With The Club recipe. However, camping is always fun, as is our latest recipe. Tin foil chili cheese fries are easy to make and absolutely delicious and fun if you are on the road, around the fire, or at home. In our version, we tried to make it lighter by using low fat Turkey Chili and low fat Cheddar Cheese. You can add some onion, sour cream, and hot sauce to give this even more of a kick! Start you next camping trip with a little fun around the fire and enjoy some tin foil chili cheese fries. Watch the video below and try the recipe for yourself!

Tin Foil Chili Cheese Fries!

Ingredients:

Frozen Fries
Cayenne Pepper
Salt
Chili ( Homemade or pre-made )
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Sliced jalapeños

Preparation Instructions:

Place fries in the foil and cook per the oven instructions or to desired crispiness. If cooking on the grill, cook for around 10-15 minutes, check often to make sure you aren’t burning the the foil or the fries. Once again, cook to desired crispiness.

Once your fries are cooked, remove them and cover in cheddar cheese.
Then add your chili on top, cover in more cheese and jalapeños and wrap your foil packet back up.

Place your foil packet back in the over or on the grill 10-15 minuets to heat the chili and melt the cheese.

Remove and let cool and enjoy!
