Jason has been camping since he was old enough to walk. From an early age he and his parents spent weeks at a time tenting all over the Southern states.
As Jason matured, so did his camping style. From a bivy sack on the side of a frozen mountain, to a plush fifth wheel with slide-outs, he’s seen all sides of the camping experience.
Jason is an avid outdoor junkie. He enjoys mountain biking, backpacking, mountaineering, and just hanging around the fire. He has camped on 4 continents, reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2005, and completed the Inca Trail trek in Peru in 2007.
With the recent purchase of his 1969 Apache Pop-up camper, Jason has learned to use his modest RV as a base camp for his many adventures.
