Nearby Misquamicut State Beach boasts a livelier stretch of sand, with beachside attractions, seafood and surfing. Downtown Westerly is charming in its own right, boasting finely manicured Victorian homes, high-end dining and the expertly landscaped Wilcox Park, which doubles as an arboretum.
